Designers Melissa Losada and Marcela Velez established their brand M2Malletier in 2012 after meeting at Parsons School of Design. Drawing inspiration from the works of Losada’s father-in-Law, the Catalan architect Ricardo Bofill, and French interior designer Jean-Michel Frank, the label’s aesthetic marries architectural and historical elements, threading a line between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design to deliver a range of simple yet distinctive structured handbags.
